GIVEAWAY! Active Duty / Veteran Razors and Blades Participation PIF

Space_Cadet

I don't have a funny description.
Long time no see... been away for a while. Good to see you again, folks.

Not sure where exactly it belongs, I'll just post this here.

This little initiative of mine is a sort of a PIF for Active Duty/Veteran forum members. Or perhaps if there won't be enough participants, other members too.

I hope to make it interesting, so I'm offering two razors - Gillette New and Schick Krona, and an assortment of blades to the members who will decide to take part.

I'm sending these two razors and blades to someone to try out for a certain period of time and when he's done, he sends it to the next member (unless at some point someone might decide he really really likes one and perhaps wants to keep it, if so, he should replace it with another razor, the details are open to debate).

Anyone wants in?

Slickness is a sickness
Okay, this thing is off. I made a mistake. Don't want to push things people don't want.

Not sure how you arrived at the conclusion that nobody wants the razors...maybe lack of participation?

If so, I would suggest you try a similar post in the "General Shaving Discussion" forum, which may reach a larger group of the membership. I'm not sure this forum gets the same number of eyeballs.

Don't throw in the towel, someone will be thrilled to receive those two very nice razors.

Good luck 🙂👍

Well if all else fails, find a Homeless Shelter that service to all Veterans. We have two in Phoenix, Arizona. Know both well, one is all males, there other is converted Travel Lodge Motel in is mix of male, and female veterans. Known USVets has facilities in major US Cities..

Also if you have an Elks Lodge in you area most have program to assist Homeless Vets. Check with them.

Just an alternate idea if no member Vets wants.

This is a very generous PIF, especially around the 4th of July for the USA folks. Personally, I would love to try them both, especially the Schick Krona, but did not immediately jump in due to hoping a Vet in need or an active duty service member would sign up. It would not surprise me that there are others who feel the same way.

The logistics associated with a pass around with active duty also might be a bit different for some.

Nevertheless, you definitely deserve a big THANK YOU for your willingness to offer this PIF. We all can do more for those who serve and have served, regardless of their country or branch of service.
