Aquisitions have been very slow for me since January. I must not be living right. In spite of that, I did manage to score these two today.

A full month of scores? This thread will be huge...

British traveler kit -- filled with the expected items like cuticle scissors, hair brush, shaving soap stick holder, brush holder, and a nice metal mirror. And some unexpected items like collar stays, styptic pencil and a pristine #15 British Aristocrat! What a surprise! And what a beautiful kit!

Fantastic!

A couple of months ago there was a flurry of laudatory posts about the Eclipse razor. I made a mental note to grab one of these should it become available and, sure enough, I found a beautiful specimen, complete with art deco bakelite case, sitting on ebay for a week without so much as a bid. So I sniped it for 22 euros. It calls itself a Red Ring Model BB, but there isn't a trace of red on the handle. After a good cleaning, I loaded up with a Feather and whipped up some Nancy Boy cream. Great shave! Mild but thorough, with a feeling of an open comb against the skin. This razor definitely deserves the praise that it gets.

Arrived yesterday. I purchased this brush to re-knot because I liked the design of the handle. To my surprise it was not plastic as advertised. I am leaning toward bone or ivory. It is pictured next to a bone handle I already own and my Rooney 1/1. It has a paper tag on the bottom that states Argentina and two other words that are illegible and what appears to be a crown in the middle.

I've been looking for some colognes that have an oil carrier as opposed to water or alcohol as the scents are meant to last considerably longer.
After looking around, it seems that pretty much most of the colognes out of the Middle East have oil carriers due to restrictions on alcohol. I found an Australia vendor on eBay that sells decants of Middle Eastern colognes so I've dipped my toe into the water and bought these two.

wow - that british travel kit is nice. People use the word "mint" alot, but the aristocrat in that set really does look mint.

I just won a fat boy on the bay ... been looking for a while (like so many others), and was pleased to pick this up for under $28.00 with shipping.

Hope the image works ..

Ooooooooo....Got to love Vintage Williams. :001_tt1:

This should be 1975-1976 vintage by the way, due to the advertising for the Bicentennial Mug. I suspect that due to the two different offers on the box (one says save $3 off the cost of the mug, and the other says save $4) that this promo may have been run over the course of two years. Makes a great amount of sense, as the Bicentennial was a huge event.
