I usually don't go for these travel kits, but I decided to snag this one if I could:

I was hoping to get it cheaper but 60USD is the right price for that IF it's in good shape. Only time will tell. And I'm talking about the razor, of course.

Is that an HD Rocket? Nice. Did these razors originally come with these travel sets? I've seen all sorts of razors pop up in these vintage leather travel sets, without rhyme or reason.

B&B membership has its percs
First time poster in this area, but I did have a great Sattiday here in the Great Lakes State .. received two brushes on the same day, Fedex came at 9 AM with one, my friend & local Postal Worker Larry delivered the other around 11:30. I have the coasts that they came from reversed in the picture, but on the left is a restoration of an old Made Rite brush by member Rudy Vey in Finest, the one on the right originated from somebody in Cali named Nick. I washed them out, lathered them up .. Thanks to both. I don't know how long I can go on shaving twice a day

50 packets of 5 vintage blades. They are Jewel Razor Co Platinums from Sheffield. I've never heard of them but Sheffield is reknown for good steel and blades and the compay is still around although they now make mainly industrial blades.

I believe it is an HD Rocket, I've usually seen Techs in them. But hey, if they are going to through a HD Rocket in there, I'll go for it.

Now that there is a find!

I picked up one of these to put on my desk at work to help tidy it up.

I'll be able to put my bottles of fountain pen ink on the back tray, my mobile phone, mp3 player and bluetooth headset on the top and my fountain pens in the drawer.

The bay was kind to me whilst I slept.

First is a partially used bottle of vintage Old Spice Jubillee

And the second score is a good lesson in why you need to look closely at all the pictures in the listing. This was listed as "ANTIQUE TRAVELING RAZOR EVERSHARP SCHICK". The first photo also shows what is obviously a Gillette razor as well.

and then things start to get more interesting.

It's a Milady Decolletee Coral Set :w00t:

Nice scores there John! Let us know how that Jubillee smells, I was going to bid on it, but had some other things in the fire. Regardless, pretty cool bottle.

That Jubillee is better then I thought. From cr8on.com:

Queen Elizabeth 25th Jubilee 1977
Made in England to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation.
$30-$40

And that lady's set is darn nice, not the usual cream color. Very nice.

A New Norfolk chromium. It looks like it needs a good clean and a replate but you don't see too many of these around so it will be worth the effort I think. I got it on a single bid on $4.99.

And it feels so good!

Picked up a brassy 1924 New Improved in a Micromatic case, unfortunately, the mismatched set cost a bit more than the $3 i paid for the Micromatic... :001_rolle

Huh, I found a similar looking razor a few weeks back:

and

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u45/gitemstevedave/flea market finds/5-22-2010 trip/100_3220.jpg

was that the same razor? I have since gotten rid of the heads, but still have the handles...

I think that the razor on the left of the first picture is an Otto Roth. It's longer and thinner than the Norfolk but I think the heads are the same.
