^ Nice display, AC. The Mergress and R89 are beautiful razors. Use them in good health, my friend. Nice shave case, too.
Stopped at a local antique shop and picked up a 1966 Gillette SS ($8), 1963 Slim Adjustable ($22), and an Oxford Straight ($22).

My fellow Canadian neighbors came through! After a long twenty eight days I finally received my Flare tip Rocket. A beauty.

Today's haul for me is a French made Le Coq adjustable DE.
The razor is in very good condition, the set seems uncomplete, missing a blade bank and the box has seen some use but still this is a very nice one IMO.
I don't have any information about it (dating wise). Would you have any ?
It is stamped "licence Palmer" under the head, I did not find anything about this either except some vintage blades named Palmer.
Hopefully my next post will be announcing my 2 new Simpsons brushes (Jubilee et Wee Scot)

The Jubilee is gorgeousOK so this is my 4th B&B post and the second in this thread, I may have some sort of AD

Wow I did not know Pimpsons made a LE brush for the Queen's Jubilee! That is really something special esp with the embedded coin!

That is an impressive brush. The Wee Scot is neat too (At least I have been able to get one of those for my own. The Jubilee I don't hold much hope for).
My recent purchase from the Bay just came in the mail today. I did not have high hopes from the low price I won it for, nor from the few pictures that were supplied. However, after opening up the package, and lightly cleaning things up with Scrubbing Bubbles and a tooth brush, all I can say is..... Damn Did I score!!! Included in the purchase was a cased Gillette Travel Tech (with Berkeley Blade), 2 Durham Duplex razors (1 with original box), a Rolls Razor (original box and instructions), as well as a Schick Krona!
