I am new to the hobby, but got two pretty nice Gillette razors this weekend.

Just won this on eBay about ten minutes ago. Not to sure about it, seller posits it could be soap... or solidified powder? Jon didn't bid on it, so maybe he knows it's powder. I struggle to believe a woman's product would bare the name "Norseman," so I think the odds are with me. I suppose we'll find out when it arrives.

A present from the wonderful SWMBO. Milk & Co Shave milk. This stuff is WEIRD to use when you are used to soap or cream and a brush but the results... Wow. I'm faceturbating as we speak. 
Well Gents, here's my score, courtesy of the 'Bay. Ended in the middle of the Superbowl, so I think I was lucky and got a good deal on them!

This is an old Henckels Rapide Safety Razor by the J.A.Henckels Twin Works of Germany and it provides a close, smooth shave. The flared, knurled nut on the handle screws downward allowing the wire bail on the back of the head to move away from the wedge shaped blade so it can be removed or replaced under the small tension clamps on the edge. Originally built to take wedge blades but will accept modern SE blades as well.
Includes stropper that has its own fancy handle...
It is marked with the company name, logo and model; "Rapide" on the handle above the cross hatched section.
A original wedge blade which is clearly marked with the company information. Not in the best condition.
This C.V Heljestrand wedge blade and holder were in the case as well (they don't belong to the set). Blade is in pretty bad condition.
Includes stropper that has its own fancy handle...
