Abercrombie & Fitch Brush from an Antique store

I went to an antique store today and I found this Abercrombie & Fitch brush for $6. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure it's silvertip. Think I scored?

The diameter at the base of the knot appears to be 22mm, and the height of the bristles is about 56 mm, and the height of the handle is 55mm.

I believe Simpson used to make brushes for Abercrombie & Fitch. It looks like there is a faint marking above the "A&F" mark, which could be a Simpson model number. But the glare makes it difficult to read.

If you post more pictures, get one of the underside too. That can have distinctive marks too.

There is a vertical line directly above the "m" in abercrombie. I'll post what's on the bottom. There're a few letters, but I can't tell what they say.
Here's the original picture, then here's a few letters that I could distinguish.

Wow I never would have thought of Abercrombie & Fitch ever selling such manly products, they've gone so metrosexual I don't feel like I could shop there unless I have ripped abs and wax my chest lol!

Stereotypes aside that is a really cool find!

I went through hundreds of brush pictures to try to find an identical handle shape, but I couldn't. I have absolutely no idea who made this thing, unless it really was A&F.

I believe the original A&F went bankrupt in the late '80's or early '90's, and that the current brand is just a revival of the name as a marketing gimmick. It has no "DNA" from the old A&F.
