A Tale of two Razors
A Few Weeks Ago, I bid on this lot of two Open Combed razors.
One handle had a crack in it, but I Thought The Other one Would Be Ok. (Boy was I Naïve)
Anyway, The gold Blade case is In good condition and needs Cleaned.
Both Razor heads Are In Good Shape, One has a Slightly bent tooth so I may be contacting Krona Kruiser (Not Sure about Spelling) Soon.
Maybe he could give them both a good Cleaning As well.
Now Back to the Handles:
I Found that the handle from My Ball end Tech Will Fit the head of this Razor, So If Anyone has two Extra Ball end Tech Handles Laying Around Please Contact Me.
I Am Also Entertaining The idea of buying custom handles, Anybody here make those for a reasonable Rate?
One more Thing:
What kind of Razor are these?

One other thing, The broken handles I Got with These Do not attach to the razors, nor does the Little Ball Part, I held it together for Illustration.

I forgot to mention that the one head I Cleaned So far shaves great!

They look like 1921-1928 Gillette Old Type Ball End razors.

I believe the Ball End handles from that era had a tendency to crack since you find a lot of them with cracks being sold. The ball end and thread end look to have fallen out when the handle cracked. I'm not sure if they were originally pressed in or held in with some type of epoxy?

There seems to be a lot of Old Type razors on sale on ebay cheap so if you don't buy an aftermarket handle you could probably pick up another Old Type for less than $10
