A Shave Poll

I'm always looking for a better shave so when I look throughout the site I'm always trying to find others with like facial hair. Opinions are what this place is made of but it's all in the details. So, I propose for those who want to partake in a poll to bring out those details although I think it should be in every signature.
1) beard type; thin, regular, thick and straight or curly
2) preshave; wash face first?, cold or warm water with shave, preshave oil or cream.
3)shaver and razor and brush
4)soap or cream, bowl or face lather and what you use most
5) number if passes and what directions
6) post shave routine; alum, witch hazel, balm, splash, etc.

Regular/straight/cut close and very shaped. Shower, leave wet, bathrobe. You name it-DE, SE, Injectors, on weekends trying out straights. Mostly creams, some soaps, face lather now 100% of time. 2-3 WTG and either AGT or XTG, touch up as needed (still need to use DE to touch up after straights). Warm rinse, alum block or witch hazel or Porter's AS. Then finish drying off, then cold rinse, pat dry, balm, cologne on chest.

FYI- If you want an easy way to compile the results of a survey, type "survey monkey" into google and it will take you to a website where you can send out a free basic survey.

Enjoy.

1. Thick[ish] straight
2. Preshave, hot shower or hot water rinse.
3. Big rotation, but favorites are injector razors and Omega boar brushes.
4. Various soaps with face lathering.
5. Two complete passes, at least, WTG, ATG, with some XTG touchup.
6. Cold water rinse. No other aftershaves.

1) beard type: thick and straight
2) preshave: wash face (mostly warm these days, but I'm also a big fan of cold water shaving) with Gillette or Nivea facial cleanser
3) razor depends on my mood; I tend to use my DE's most often; my Schick Krona and Fatboy feature heavily in my rotation. Blade the same, my go-to DE blades are Gillette Platinums. I've only been using my Balea brush lately
4) soap or cream: mostly my Palmolive and Tabac sticks and Godrej Deluxe Lather and Nivea creams. I only face-lather
5) Two passes: either 2 x WTG (where the second pass is more of a Gillette Slide) or WTG + XTG. that's what I do on my cheeks anyway - I do WTG+ATG on my neck and jawline and upper and lower lip. When I'm in a hurry, or if my skin feels a bit sensitive, I just do one WTG/Gillette Slide pass everywhere except my neck, where I go ATG. I don't usually need to do much touching up. Results range from SAS to DFS bordering on BBS. I've learned that more than two passes is overkill for my face.
6) post-shave routine: a cold-water rinse, followed by Old Spice, Clubman, or Brut splash, very occasional use of the alum block before the splash.
