Sorry, couldn't resist. Major geek points for anyone who gets the imbedded Monty Python reference.
So last week I sold all of my English brushes (I am happy with my restores and butterscotch Rooney's) and used all the proceeded to get a wagon-load of vintage AS's and colognes. Here the partial haul:
Vintage Seaforth! Spiced Set (Cologne, Talc, and A/S)
Cinnamon Bark, Rum, and Myrrh. Hefty duty. An earthier more complex OS type. Cool compass.
Vintage Macgregor Set: Cologne, Brushless cream, Styptic Pencil and AS)
Probably my favorite vintage brand. Best packaging of all these old brands. Smells clean and cool, like Jeris hair tonic but nicer.
