What's new

A few vintage shop finds.

I went browsing round a local vintage shop today, they usually have the typical ever-ready razors and a couple of other small bits but today I managed to find a bottle of English Old Spice in a ships wheel bottle (full), a small bottle of 4711 (half full) and a straight marked RICH. ABR. HERDER Solingen. And the price? A pretty cool £11 :) So what does everyone think? Does anyone have any info on the straight?

I don't know much about straight razors, but it looks nice. A full bottle of OS, the vintage formula, was a nice score - if you like the scent.

I do love the scent of old spice. I'm not sure if there is a difference between the old stuff and the new stuff as some people suggest but it smells great all the same :)

I've been trying to find vintage gear (razors, brushes, bottles of aftershave) Where are the best places to look? I've tried a few antique shops but no luck maybe it is just my area isn't very good people throw out good old stuff and think that newer is better.

Cman I literally just go to vintage shops in the UK, a lot of sellers don't know average prices for vintage shave items so you can usually get items for quite cheap. Car boot sales are good as well because people sometimes sell old razors belonging to relatives :)
