7 o'clock tech (WWII era?)

I have one of those. Does yours have the plastic bottom plate, if so what color is it? Mine has a green bottom plate and handle. I only used mine once, it is a nice shaver.
On a side note, those old English 7 O'clock blades feel thicker that modern blades.

It is a plastic bottom plate brown, like the handle. That one in the foto is not mine, I found this photo on B & B. I have the same one, but nos. Present from Santa (daughter). She also found me a near mint 7 o'clock NEW. Do you now more about this bakelite tech?

Tried it with my sunday blade (Feather). This is the first Tech that gives me a good, close shave in 2. In fact it was not much different from a shave with my NEW, with a weekday blade (nos Barber SP). 7 O'clock made some fine razors. No wonder Gillette bought them
