Wow, I'm surprised there wasn't much last minute bidding. The auctions I won, I expected them to go much higher.
I can't speak for everyone, but I have a hard time keeping up with it on a Friday evening/night. I'm typically out (and I was), and it would be rather rude to keep pulling out my cell phone to make our check on bids. I was also very busy through the afternoon, so I pretty much had to let the chips fall where they did.

I agree that the lack of late bidding was something of a surprise. Frankly, since I wasn't going to respond, I'm quite surprised that I won the two I did. Both were bids that had been just sitting there for at least a day.

Typically there's a fury of bids on the first day, right when the auctions open. The second day is always quiet, then the third day is when it gets really heated. There were bids, but I didn't see the intensity I usually see in the final hours.
