On a whim Saturday I decided to hit the local flea market and since one of my "go to" guys at the local antique mall usually returns from wintering in Florida about now I decided to see if my luck was still holding on Sunday.
My "go to" guy was not back yet but one of the other dealers was and in both cases.....SCORE!!
From the Saturday flea market.
5.00 for both the NOS Old Spice mug and soap set and the refill puck.
7.00 for the Gillette travel razor apparently from Germany since the case notes "German Leather" and the bonus OC head sports a German makers mark(original owner must have preferred OC) since the Gillette has a date a date code of J-2 this is my "Lost In Space" razor (for the non sci-fi buffs the ship in LIS was the Jupiter II or J2 to fandom).
From the Sunday antique mall trip.
48.00 for the cased Milord with a sealed and rust free S-1 date code Gillette blade.
Gave them both a good clean and polish and gave the J-2 a go Saturday night,good shaver but that stubby handle is a bit of a PITA.
Since I had 3 teeth yanked yesterday afternoon and numbed face + really sharp piece of steel = really,really bad idea the Milord gets a go tonight.
