The wife's investment
Today is my 6 year anniversary of membership here at Badger and Blade. Thanks Nick & Joel and all the mods/stewards for making this a place worth returning to nearly every day.
I joined B&B on a quest for a new shaving soap. I stayed for all the great camaraderie and fun.
So what shave soap did I settle on for my daily shave? As many others before me and since then have all discovered, that is nearly an impossible feat. I am currently rotating through about a dozen and have used up many others. Based on all the ones that I have bought, used up, and repurchased, I would have to say that Tabac is leading the battle AND there are still many others that I want to try. Art of Shaving soaps are probably my favorite, but it has been a few (too many) years since I have had one in rotation.
I'm currently participating in the 2012 Shave Purchase Sabbatical (not really sure why, but it's too late to quit now), which means that it will be over 1-1/2 years since my last shave soap purchase when January rolls around. I have enough to get by, but it is difficult reading about all the new products from places like Razorock and not having any to compare.
Since my last re-cap and reflection I have replace Red IP blades with Feather blades as my favorite daily shaver and my 40's Superspeeds haven't seen much light since getting an Edwin Jagger DE89L last year.
Anyway, carry on and remember...
RELAX...
TAKE IT EASY...
ENJOY THE LATHER.
