Hey guys,
I recently picked up a '56 blue tip superspeed from an antique shop. It is in so good of condition that I question if it's ever been used... Until today. I used it with a lord platinum from a sampler I got. I got a terrible shave! I thought that since I've heard it's very mild that I would get a good shave from it (I'm a total noob), but it's much worse than my ej89l. It took more passes and didn't shave as close and gave me more irritation. I looked at the razor after and I realized the blade had an uneven reveal. I mean to say that while the blade was perfectly straight, one side looked a bit longer than the other side. I took out the blade and turned it around and that didn't help. I then took the same blade and put it in a '56 red tip superspeed I have yet to use and the blade was even on both sides. Could this be why my shave sucked? Is this normal? (It's barely noticeable) Is there any way to fix this or is this just a bum blue tip?
Thanks,
Kevin
