2 of the same brushes?

Does anyone here own two of the same brushes? I was just wondering if anyone found a brush they loved so much that they bought two or maybe even more of them. The usual trend on wet-shaving forums is to own a lot of different stuff to have a lot of different experiences because its fun to do so.

If you do own two of the same brushes, please let us know which brush :001_smile. Pics are great too .

I have 2 brushes the same. They were just such good value. One with a faux ivory handle one with a faux ebony handle.

I have two Caswell-Massey bristle and boar brushes that came in two different gift kits that my oldest son sent me. They were Christmas gifts two years apart. And it's funny, the older one is in better shape than the newer one although I use both in my rotation.

I don't - yet! But I am just now considering getting a second Colonel X2L in Best with a loft a bit longer than the one I have now.

I have two pieces of the Duke 3 Best and of the Colonel X2L Best. I love Simpson brushes in general and these two models in particular. Therefore I got two of each!

I have two Plisson 16 HMW brushes. One purchased through AoS and the other obtained by trade, although I believe it was sold by AoS as well. I loved the first one and had no trouble justifying another. The shape of the knot in each is different as well as quite a difference in the handle although they are both horn. They do work about the same and I use each one equally.

Since badger is a natural material, I wonder if any of you have noticed any variations among your duplicate brushes?

I received two identical model Finest brushes from Frank Shaving. Both are very nice, indeed, but one had an especially soft and luxurious knot. Notably softer than the other.

I chalk that up to natural variation in badger hair. Both fall within normal tolerances for Finest, and both are very nice, just that one is especially nice.

There was some variation in the knot shape as well, one being a slightly more round bulb, the other just a tad flatter on top.

Anyone notice similar variations?

My Semogue 1470 just came today, and if the B&B boar brush doesn't turn out amazing, ill be ordering a second for sure. Especially at that price

Not the exact same brush, but the first time I tried a Rooney Finest I knew had to have another one! Now I have three
