2+ Days of BBS = Ingrown Hairs?

If I go for BBS for two+ days in a row, will I start to get ingrown hairs?

My concern it that after a BBS shave, my whiskers sit just slightly below the skin's surface. I fear that after two+ days of this, the skin will close up over the hairs causing ingrowns.

Am I worrying over nothing?

Up to now, I've alternated from going ATG for BBS one day, and then going WTG only for a CCS or DFS the next. This allows my hairs to grow out beyond the skin between BBS shaves.

I've been wondering this for a while and but haven't seen anyone mentioning having a problem with it. Maybe it's not a problem, but I'd like to find out for sure.

Thanks,
K.T.

I tried that 2 weeks ago, and after 3 days in a row of BBS my face was on fire all day long.
I don't recommend it at all.

To me it depends on at what angle the hair grows out. My face is OK for against the grain shaves because the hairs are perpendicular, but my neck is a no-go because the hair grows out close to parallel to the skin. Shaving ATG there not only hurts but also results in ingrowns. Across the grain is as close as I can get on my neck.

Have you experienced ingrowns in the past?

If no, I wouldn't be worried about BBS everyday.

If yes, then BBS may be a problem from what I've read. In my shaving reading, I've seen a list of recommendations for people with ingrown beard problems. Can't find the link but I know it said to use a DE, don't stretch the skin as you shave, don't XTG. Those three would pretty much eliminate BBS! (
