What's new

1st time Headslick user

I used Headslick cream for the 1st time yesterday, and I must say I am very impressed, indeed! B&B member Casey sent a bunch of samples of this to several members. Thanks again, Casey!

It is definitely slick, and the menthol will freeze your face off. Are all mentholated creams this cold?:w00t:I only had to use a tiny amount on my Tweezerman brush, and got tons of lather for 4 passes. There was still plenty of lather left over in my brush that got washed down the drain. I now understand why I've seen such positive posts about this product here on B&B. I'm gonna have to get me a bottle of this. It's great stuff!

Of course, with such a cooling mentholated shave, I just had to finish up with Aqua Velva Ice Blue. This was a great shaving experience.:biggrin1:

Headslick is awesome stuff. I use it everyday on my head and have used it on my face sometimes too. Pretty inexpensive too, it goes for like $7-9 at most drug stores (Walgreens, Rite-aid, CVS) or direct from Headblade if you can't find it locally. Very slick and a little bit goes a long way.

I also tried this for the first time a few days ago-I was very impressed.
I'd say this menthol is about a 7 out of 10. The Shave Den's Iced Subzero
is way colder-brings tears to my eyes every time, and I happen to like that.

I picked up a squeeze bottle of this a few months ago off of a clearance table somewhere for around $1. Think it's a great product, but I don't find the menthol (which I like) there. I know there's some there, but it isn't as powerfull as I'd like.

Still, for the price I paid, you can't beat it.

HeadSlick is one of the very best low-cost creams around and I use it often and recommend it to newbies. I sometimes find it at Sally's Beauty Supply stores for a dollar or two per bottle, as well. I remember the first time I tried a really powerful menthol cream and found it unpleasant and preferred HeadSlick's lighter touch. However, now when I use HeadSlick I wonder if there is any menthol in there at all...I wonder if your skin gets acclimated to it to the point you need to go stronger.

It's great stuff! I use it occasionally on my head in the shower as well as on my face. I can tell you from experience that if you get some in your eyes you can skip the morning coffee.
