From Dec 22 to Jan 8 we were in the Destin, FL area. Ft. Walton beach and Miramar beach. Flew home on Monday just ahead of the tornadoes, lucky scheduling
Checked current TSA regs and saw that you can now have a safety razor without blades in your carry on. Took my regular Dopp kit with a R41, older Tiki Bar LE Fire Nymph (smoky woody scent) soap and a travel bottle of Clubman Special Reserve. Matched nicely. So I had to find blades and neither Publix nor Winn Dixie had any. Went to Walmart and found a 10 pack of Van Der Hagen blades which I had no experience with. They worked fine for two shaves each. Tried 3rd shave and felt tuggy so binned. Shaved around 13-14 times in the 18 days and had only two weepers. Very happy with the results. Was pleasantly surprised by the VDH blades but had to throw remainers out. All in all a nice experience for the week.
