12 different particle size pastes!

Holy tiny text, Batman!

Sorry, but is it just me? Good thing the "Ctrl +" trick works a treat. Now off to look at the products...

Oops - it was an odd quirk of my browser settings. Terribly sorry for the confusion.

I've often thought of finding some balsa wood and making a progression of pasted surfaces. While I'm not sure if a 5-gram syringe in each size would be enough (anybody know?), the price of $30 shipped for the whole kit sounds like a great bargain. Thanks for the link!

5 grams will last you a lifetime.

for the 40 micron and other larger grits, that's not even enough, not to mention it is only usable on knives and such not razors. If I remember correctly 14 micron is ~1k stone equivalent.
Also the high grits will require some sort of plate to sit on, for example kanaban, or at least sand paper.
In my opinion the scary sharp system would work better for working a razor.
And of course the CrO is one of the best to use.

There is one other compound that is very highly regarded and also gives better results than CrO; Adams #2 . This is out of production but it can be found in some hardware stores still. Give that a try it finishes bevels and refines edges better than CrO.
