I ordered myself some stuff from WCS as a bday present to myself last week. My box of swag showed up yesterday evening. I unpacked the box of goodness and added the gear to my den. I had a shave this morning and decided the following:
1) Personna Super (Med/Lab) blades are great blades. At least from what I recall from last using them.
2) Above blade in a Black Tip, for me, a bad combination.
3) D.R. Harris Arlington soap is awesome. Love the scent!
4) Haven't had a nick or weeper in many, many months. This sucks.
5) Alum feedback definitely let me know I fouled up with my selection.
6) Tried the Veg. Not sure if it has chosen me. Can't say I hate it...I like Clubman better, though.
7) I can totally see the baby diaper reference now.
8) Replaced my VDH boar brush with a Wee Scot for my dopp kit. That brush is more wee than I expected.
9) Speaking of brushes, I think I've opened to door to SBAD.
10) Assessment of shave den status: more than I can use in 5-7 years. Why am I planning the next order??
