I have the Freshwood version of this brushless cream but figured pretty much the same applies to the cool cologne, excluding the scent.
Bought out of curiosity as it was only £1.80. I have used it a couple of times, once out of curiosity and once (this morning) because I was in a rush. First thing to note is this stuff has a looser consistency than the usual stuff that comes in a tube. You have to use quite a bit to smear over your face. It doesn't lather so much as leave you with a thick white "film" over your face rather like if you applied too much aftershave balm. I used my usual weapon - Tech with a Feather - and went to it. I found it allows the razor to glide easily over your skin with adequate protection. As this morning's shave was a rush, I did just two passes instead of my usual 3 and a half. The second pass meant applying more of the cream. I was all done in just over five minutes and no damage. Not the closest I like but the result was presentable for work.
I think this may be my new emergency shave option. It's certainly nicer than resorting to gel or foam for a quick lather. However I don't think I'd want to use it for my usual shave because making 3 applications of cream would be a bit of a messy process compared to using a brush (the stuff can stick to your hands) and would use it up very quickly. This may work better for those with lighter stubble who don't need more than a couple of passes.
