This razor is particularly rare because it has considerable value added work done by one of the last Master Razor Makers in Solingen. The tang and shank all the way to the double stabilizing piece have been gold plated as has the surface of the red paint filled spine forging. The final wonderful touch is the hand made rosewood handles. It has been hardened to 62c on the Rockwell hardness scale.
