This was my setup for the longest time. Poor man's wet shave. Van der Hagen Deluxe soap (<$2), Tweezerman brush ($12), T.N. Dickinson's witch hazel ($3), Aqua Velva ($4).
Still gave great results. You don't have to spend a fortune for a great shave!
