Here's a rarely seen extremely well made and effective French slant razor. Nice to see the experimentation continued with the engineers attempting to perfect that twisted slant DE razor. it does provide an excellent shave with little effort and real finesse. The case is an unusual model for this razor -- almost like marbled paper.

A traveler style version of the Valencia slant.

No crack on the handle, and a very clean twist to the slant.

Good clean and long teeth in this open comb.

Quite an attractive set. Or is beauty simply in the eye of the beholder?

That is a very pretty razor Jake, thank you for showing. Your kit is known as the model 801 B and looks to be in excellent condition.

Got two Valencia-razors myself, the long screw 301 A and the short screw 601 A. Haven't shaved with them yet, but the sleek and long teeth on the OC together with the pronounced helix make these razors quite atractive indeed.

It's interesting that as far as European razors go, it's generally the German brands that receive all the accolades. But from what I've seen, the French surpass the Germans both in build quality and elegance.
