Gordon's Cup--been wanting to try one for a long time. Did not love it. I think I need to back way off on the simple syrup. The lime, too. Next up may be Gordon's Breakfast, but I am a little discouraged!
I should have an egg in this photo! For a nightcap, I made a couple of whiskey sours. For 2 drinks: 4 oz bourbon, 2 oz lemon juice, 2 oz Ackermann VT Maple Syrup, 1 egg white. All ingredients shaken “dry,” then shaken with 5 ice cubes. Orange zest and a Luxardo cherry for garnish. The best Whiskey Sour I have had! Cheers!
