Your shave the day you started wetshaving

Old Gillette DE Razor (model unknown), Gillette Foamy Canned Shaving Cream, No pre- or post-shave.

I was 4 years old. I did a one pass BBS eyebrow removal and then promptly sliced open my cheek which caused some irritation. In hindsight, the sideways sliding of the razor was poor technique.

Interesting thread!

I started with:
Gillette Tech (purchased from the bay) with some type of blade
Omega 49
An Arko cream, not THE Arko lemon scent but some other type that was on sale from Shoebox Shave
Nivea Aftershave, the same one I used from my cart days

I tried to keep things as cheap as possible when starting out but the Tech and cream were not for me. I quickly moved on to SEs and fortunately, my next soap/aftershave choice was Speick. It's all been a pleasure since!
