I picked up this srop for $32 in a flea market in Longmont, CO last fall. Is it suitable for use? If so, any suggestions on how I should best go about cleaning and/or conditioning it first?
I've never used a strop, but have shaving with a straight on my list to at least try this year. I used one for a first pass on my cheeks a couple of days ago with good results. So I'm going to start readying myself in earnest.
