I don't get along very well with some vintage Gillettes, but this is one of my favorites. Capable of very close shaves.

So, I was under the impression that vintage (that is, decades old) blades are rough shavers. Or does it only apply to carbon blades ?
For some reason, this razor gives me a strong 80s vibe...

For whatever reason, I seem to get the closest, smoothest shaves with the Derby Premiums. This was mostly BBS, and little to no feedback with alum, hazel, and Lilac Vegetal.
A smart fellow might consider just buying that one type of blade from here on out...but that would be boring.

Late 40’s Fat Handle Gold Tech. A Tech and Silver Blue is such a great shave for me. I can do seemingly endless clean up and never get irritation. I end up closer than using an aggressive razor.
