Hope you find a great example. I have had quite a few Sumo and once owned the predecessor to this MM300, the SBDX001 original OG. I’ve beat this one up quite a bit.
Conservative, yes. Although there is much in the photo that suggests less than conservative sensibilities. This is me giving a guarded amount of approval.
1889 Elgin Model 1, grade 95, 6s with 7 jewels. My smallest and oldest antique watch.

I really like crown @4 watch design. Good linking watch.
I'd been jonsing for an automatic that looked cool, functions well, was a tad unique and wasn't stupidly expensive. Found it with this from CountyComm. It's all titanium, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, nice lume, relatively easy to read, simple, clean and ticked all the boxes. Runs off a Japanese Miyota 9015 hacking movement and keeps relatively decent time: not Swiss precise by a long shot, but very serviceable for my needs. Bonus is the wealth of straps so I can change these out on a whim: Bond fans will recognize two of the straps. Watch came with a full titanum bracelet I took off and will more than likely use only for special occasions. Didn't want to get it scratched up at work and the fabric straps are more comfortable to wear while working on the computer.
