Thanks Josh. I am very impressed. It has softer tips than my silvertip (no name) yet it has plenty of backbone for face lathering. Very impressed. I prefer smaller brushes (so I'm glad I didn't get the Duke 3). I also got the Colonel, can't wait until tomorrow's shave.

What a great shave! I know I'm bucking the trend with now Halloween decorations, but I substituted in some Bavarian brandy delivered by one of my best friends who just returned from Garmisch. I was reading a thread wherein AlRaz (of Al's Shaving) said most people tend to underhydrate their lather. So, I added more water this morning. As I started mixing, I just knew I had too much water, but I kept whipping and soon the Semogue made some of the most rich lather I've ever had. The resulting shave was sublime as the Livi made the 2-days of growth seem like but a ghostly memory! I finished it all off with The Knize! What more could you ask?
