Not wanting to make my 2000th post in the Clown House, I decided to do it here:

Sunday morning:

Handmade (by me using a Golden Nib knot) deer antler handled short loft silvertip brush
Honeybee Spa Dragon's Blood soap (for some reason I've found the Dragon's Blood scent particularly appealing recently)
1957 (birth year) Red Tip
Derby Extra blade
Ice Blue Aqua Velva AS

Lather was a skosh on the dry side for the first pass, better on the second pass after I got my act together. Pretty nice shave overall, no irritation, but feels like it won't last quite as long as usual...

Brush: Col Conk Long Handle Pure Badger
Shaving Cream: Cyril R. Salter Wild Rose
ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave: Echt Kolnisch Wasser No. 4711

Great shave this morning. Sunday is Special Cream day with Salter's Wild Rose. First time using the No. 4711 AS. When applied, it overwhelmed the Rose scent left from the SC but, as it mellowed the Rose scent seems to be returning. I don't know if I will mix the two again though.
Any suggestions for an aftershave to compliment the Salter Wild Rose?

D.R. Harris Pink is certainly an option. You can also check out the aftershaves from Saint Charles Shave. I particularly like the Damascena Rose balm (you check them out in my SOTD pic for today). Trumper's Coral Skin Food might also be an option.
