How do you like your Revisor? I'm thinking of getting one in 8/8 soon.

It's a good razor, very well-built. Mine is totally functional as there is no decoration or fancy pants anything on it. It is very comfortable in the hand and handles well around my face, which is about all I ask of any razor.

There are guys here with bigger and prettier Revisors, but general consensus seems to be that they're all good shavers. An 8/8 is about twice too much razor for me!

I agree. It's a good stuff; I call mine "The cat" (female) because when you rinse it seems like a cat before figthing with the hair stand on end. Sorry for my english.

Still trying to get that catchy crowded composition thing, and it's not happening. If the plane of focus could cut diagonally from right front to center middle so both labels and the razor could be sharp and the brush blurry, that'd be what I want. But I don't know how I could do it without a view camera. Picky, picky, picky...

The diagonal focusplane you're searching for can be done with a Lensbaby. They come in three different types, but I recommend this one as a minimum:
