Serial number toggle. Never sold?

Spot on. Now that the razor is sold, we can assume that the buyer and seller mutually established a market clearing price.

Despite its very large size, eBay is not a perfect market place. It often operates more on emotion than rational decision-making. If Glenn had listed that A3 Toggle at $9.99 for an opening bid, some lucky guy might have stolen it for $3k or it might have jumped well past $7k. Once lots of people start bidding on an item, it generates interest and excitement, and then you have the potential for a feeding frenzy. But you also run the risk of the auction fizzling.

I keep looking at my D1 and no matter how hard I try, it just won't grow a serial number. I keep it nice and clean and take it out for the occasional shave. Is it really too much to ask in return?
