Everything is easy when you know how.
Everything seems easy when you do not know how to do it!

This seems more frequent in my experience, at least from employers toward employees.

The expert sees complexity.

I like a lot of what Churchill had to say. One I have used a lot that he said with reference to his legendarily beloved wife was: "Clementine and I made it a practice to to eat breakfast together every morning, until we had to stop in order to save the marriage."

[sorry for the earlier typos! I think I have fixed them all now!]

I always thought of it as the other way around: He who controls you angers you.

Mostly what makes people angry is the things that they can't control that are hurting them.

It someone makes you angry on a consistent basis typically your focus is on the negative. You let that anger become a focal point instead of moving on. Whenever you think of them or experiences with them it’s allowing them to control you.

" ... It is a miracle of human cultural construction that ‘the meaning-
less infinity of the world process’ (Weber 1949: 81) can appear to
us with any degree of orderliness: events as they happen around us
do not of themselves instantiate principles, and they impinge upon
us in entirely unsystematic fashion. Yet we try to act on the world,
because we are part of it and have vital interests and concerns in it.
Our means to achieve intended effects, and to understand what is
happening, is our cultural knowledge which we collectively elaborate
and connect, and individually learn through precept and experience.
But to map the degree of systematicity of knowledge in any group
of people we must recognize that the bottom line for people when
attending to their interests is not principles, but pragmatics ..." .
