Sep 3, 2009 #43 Koss I had no idea people would drink alcohol to get themselves some sleep. It sounds rather odd to me. What about exercising a few hours before bedtime, taking a nice shower... and reading a few pages from a book? Tea sounds great too.

Sep 5, 2009 #46 The Nid Hog I'm not a huge fan of nightcaps but on a cold night I have been known to add a little Irish to a cup of tea, or just hot water, honey and lemon. Barenjager liqueur also goes well with a cup of tea or cocoa.
