So sorry to read this.Shave ahead of time for tomorrow.
I helped burry my friend today. One of the toughest days of my life. I apologize for ranting but, I don’t think I’ve been this drunk in a long time. I’m just glad that I’m in my hotel room right now. Col (R) Ronald Ponder was a brother… the most patriotic man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He absolutely loved his country, his family and his friends. We graduated OCS together, served in combat together, and shared so many joys and pains together. I will love him always. I don’t know how to post a song in here but, his favorite song is by Dobie Gray… “Drift Away”. As I lay my head down on this bed, this song will put me to sleep. May you drift away in peace my dear, friend. I love you Ronnie!
Peace to all!
I miss my Henson & Tabac.Still in!

Thank you… you lifted my spirit this morning! My Condolences.
Many of you may have noticed my byline- "Please take care of yourself and each other."
The bond between you and your friend (brother) touches deeply.
I believe it’s because of thisI’m not one to wear his heart out on the internet. I think it was more booze talking last night than anything else.
Seriously though, you folks are a fine group of people
Thanks but, there was nothing “minor” about the amount of alcohol I consumed yesterday… it was WAY too muchI believe it’s because of this
I think it’s fantastic you were able to be present to say a last farewell. And then celebrate his life afterwards with some ‘minor’ amounts of liquor .
Cheers,
Guido
I hope you get to enjoy them again soon.I miss my Henson & Tabac.
Your brush choice has got me tempted to wheel out my 6212 today....Still in.
