Balsa strops and Felt strop with pastes

Here they are. Going to test some edges out. Hopefully they are laser sharp.

Is that green chromium oxide on the PRC felt, as discussed on their blog? And the other side is? My color vision is a bit lacking...

I'm a dedicated balsa/diamond stropper, .5, .25, .1 progression. I'm tempted to try green. I've got a stick of top quality Harbor Freight stuff.

There is 0.5 and 0.25 Diamond paste on the felt strop.

@BBS Kirk just remember that after stropping on the pasted leather and/or felt, the bevel will have some convexity in it and the diamonds on the pasted balsa will not be able to properly do their magic.

@rbscebu @Tanuki Excellent edge off balsa today. Wow! Prolly my best edge yet. It was sharp and super smooth. I did 25 laps on 0.5, 0.25, and 0.1 balsa. Really giddy about this new method and increasing keenness. @Slash McCoy
