I've read several threads about this shoe repair service. Great reviews here but some of the reviews are years old. I live in NYC and prefer a place I can go to. I have a pair of Ferragamo shoes that I bought in late 90s and haven't worn in over 10 yrs. they could use a refurbishing.
Has anyone used this service in the last year or so. I keep seeing the name Nick Valenti in threads as the Mgr. Is he still there?
Any recent feedback would be greatly appreciated.

They have done a nice job for me. I just got a pair back from them about 6 months ago. I used the mail in service. Turnaround was less than a month.
