In my experience, artisan products of note are Fitjar shave cream and Prairie Creations shave soap. Both are excellent and recommended.

I just ordered some cypriol scented soap from Jean at http://www.mytimebathandbody.com she makes a really nice soap I've several of her soaps and like them very much.
