Many shavers and many different ways we use the same product. If your Block is too sharp, rub it in your slightly wet/more than damp hands and then apply like an Aftershave Splash... Now you've just learned of another way
I did that for a while. It's sharp enough now to cut my hands, and it's starting to crumble. It's way beyond help. I'm just stubborn, and, severely irritated that it only lasted about a week, and the previous two from the same place in the same packaging gave me about 6 months use, or something like that.
