I kept this Gillette adjustable from a pass around box and swapped in a different razor. I'm impressed by it with the Derby Premium blade. I think I'll use this razor for a while and rotate a few different blades through it.

Tonight I switched back to the Tabac/Moka 3017 combo that has been so successful for the last 5 weeks. I also changed up the razor with the Rockwell 6C paired with the Gillette Blue 2. The shave was excellent and the Rockwell gave me a BBS with no irritation. I'm not sure if I should use the Rockwell tomorrow or give the Lupo a try.

I stayed with the open comb, and aimed for a comfortable DFS. The good thing about this razor is how effective it is WTG. If I just did a perfunctory 1-pass shave with selective tidying up, it would be at least a CCS 7 days a week.

It's not so great for ATG use.

It's not so great for ATG use.

That’s where I usually get red spots from when using the OC indeed.

Not sure if I could do a 1 pass shave. I think my enjoyment would seriously diminish. And for me personally CCS would be sub standard. Nobody would notice of course, but I like to feel smooth after my shave.
