Good lord. Is it possible to have a crappy shave with this razor? Not in my experience, limited as it is. It just gets better and better. This was my first shave with a Nacet (one of my favorite blades) in the Timeless .95SB, and it was as good as or better than last night's shave with a Personna Israeli Red. Amazing. I also tapped into my box of sample stuff and tried the Zingari Sego Balm. Very impressed. I'm reluctant to admit this given that I have no desire to buy more stuff, but I might like the Zingari better than Stirling and Cella Bio, my go-to AS balms. We shall see.

I’m used to feeling the hair get bit when I shave, but the tallow made this soap so soft I thought it wasn’t working! They even included a trial size soap bar in my order for free!

Friday’s shave….
After an extended run of shaves with the vintage Gillettes and others, I reached for my only modern razor….the Ti Henson+++. Loaded up a 7OC yellow blade which works great in several of the old Gillettes. Not the best blade I’ve tried in the Henson though. Extra work required but the blade is a mellow one and so irritation was not an issue. Anything more than 2 passes with a Feather and I’ll be burning.
A lovely, smooth finish but I’m really dialled in on the Techs so not a night and day difference. A 9/10….my usual Wizamet with this razor would be a better blade choice I reckon.

Aftershave: Stirling Bergamot Lavender w/ menthol

Face lathered ARKO with the Omega Pro. Awesome and plenty of lather. I was going to use some of the excess lather to shave my back, but I couldn’t get the straight razor grip right.

Fresh off a Coti touch up, my Henry’s X was delightful.

A splash of Bergamot Lavender to seal the deal.

An excellent honing session led to a great shave. Love that understated ARKO scent! Smells like Victory over whiskers. 10/10.

A solid shave from a solid razor and blade. I have come to expect that out of this group. Just a couple of short stubbled areas that prevented me to give it a BBS rating, but it is very good. I did have a tiny bit of post shave tenderness so I could not give it full score on comfort. Still a super nice shave.
