The blade had smoothed out nicely for its second shave. I got an easy near-BBS.

Post Shave: Nivea Hyaluron Gel

Tonight I changed to the Rockwell hoping that the smoothness of it combined with the larger gap of a high plate would produce the superior shave I was after. Lathering the Tabac is almost second nature now and it is a great soap, it is so slick that it takes a bit of work to wash it off my face when I'm done, though no amount of washing seems to get rid of the scent.
The shave was excellent and the finish was a BBS, no irritation, no problems just a great shave.
