Here’s my Sunday April vintage shave.

The 58 Executive Fatty I found in late November at a local antique store. Told myself I wanted a Fatboy(kept losing on bid battles on eBay)went to two shops and this bad boy was sitting on a shelf for 12 bucks. Snagged it without thinking and I got it redone right away by RE.

Now here she be.

8 out of 10 DFS.

This morning I shaved using TOBS Sandalwood soap. My wife loves the scent so the accompanying aftershave is a must! I have my orders.

Now that ski season is over I have a few minutes to pop in and say hi. I hope everyone is doing well and staying purchase free.

I haven’t bought any new shaving products yet but I’m getting low on aftershave. Perhaps my bottle of Floid will see me through when everything else runs out.

My 400 ml bottle of Floid has gone murky..... Anybody know whether it is still ok to use when that happens? It doesn't smell off or anything but last time I used it the menthol sting wasn't as pronounced as it used to be..

Floid didn’t fly with the LOTH and it flew out of the house irrespective of how much was left.

Yesterday's shave: first pass Weck, second pass titanium Diamondback loaded with a fresh Nacet.

Had some low neck irritation on both sides, but the it was minor.

No temptations.

Uh, oh! I seem to have misplaced my Red Swiss Army knife!

The Black one is still where I thought it was.

They are the same style. The standard one, with corkscrew that holds a small glasses screwdriver. I went for the Red one to tighten glasses screws and ??? But the Black one stood in as backup and my lens is safely secured now.

Interesting backstory. I bought the Black one many moons ago *because* I had misplaced the Red one!

If I misplace the Black one, that might qualify me as being Out because I now have to buy yet *another* one!

Thanks @Guido75 stumbled upon this tv special for $30 on the bay around November/December seller didn’t know what they had neither did half the buyers. There’s very little plate loss in some spots (can barely notice) but otherwise beautiful and a great shaver. Probably my favorite vintage besides the 30s gold Sheraton I got in memory of my grandfather.

Notes: This evening’s shave was very enjoyable. I have not used ARKO in a while and I always underestimate its performance and how much I enjoy the scent. The 4711 complimented it perfectly. I did get one pretty good nick right under my nostril, pretty painful. Outside of that, it was a close comfortable shave.
