Fragrance for the day
Penhaligon's Douro EDC

Rating: 9/10
My second shave with this blade and a slight improvement from shave 1 (which was a pretty good shave already).
I was also trying out a sample of Penhaligon's Douro Eau De Cologne for the first time after shaving with vintage Penhaligon's Lords soap. Lords was renamed Douro so the scents are the same, very nice although the staying power of the EDC isn't great.

First pass with Panasonic washable beard trimmer
Brush RV Shaving AS3M 25mm STF in Strawberry Amber
Soap Fine Classic Tallow Lavender Pour Homme
Razor Wolfman WR2 1.25 SB / @Rosseforp GTB 14mm x 80mm x 19.2grams
Blade Gillette Super Stainless The Spoiler F4 Unsure of the date 1985 maybe made in the USA (9)
splash Fine Lavender Pour Homme
Frag Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge

DFS+ 9.8 no drama

I wanted to use a vintage or adjustable razor, but, with a weeks beard the WR2 1.25 SB is just superior in every way. It had been a week on last Thursday making the WR2 a necessity. I also forgot to soak my brush which meant the need for a synthetic. Regardless today's gear and software was awesome.

MdC Monday

Hello friends

I start the week optimistic, despite the cloudy day. I'm 66 years old, but I feel 65... and a half.

For today, I decided on a green shave, MdC Fougère, Omega Jade and Skin Bracer. For a little excitement, I summoned my little great friend Il Piccolo, with the blade that in my humble opinion is the one that suits him best, Silver Star (2).

With us, at this magnificent event, Wayne Shorter's magical sax.

Rating: 10

Have a nice week and great shaves!

Pre-Shave: Hot Towel, Proraso White

Badger: RazoRock Barrel 24 STB
Blade: Astra SP

Razor: Yaqi Mellon
Soap: NO Orbit
After-Shave: Cold Water Splash, GFT Alum, NO Bare Splash

Rating: 9/10

Notes: This is such a great brush. Really blooms up. Like using the Mellon on a day following a close shave when I can’t take the day off. Feels good.

Under the weather today and late posting my morning shave.

Pre Shave: Warm Shower, Stirling Baker Street Liquid Bath Soap, Stirling Unscented Pre Shave Soap
Razor: Karve Bison
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (4)
Soap/Cream: Barrister & Mann Seville
Bowl: The CaYuen Workshop Medium Damascus Shaving Dish
Brush: AP Shave Co Sand Ebonite Handle 24mm G5A Knot
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse, Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel, Nivea Unscented Post Shave Balm & Seaforth Black Watch AS
Rating: 10/10 A comfortable efficient 3 pass BBS shave with no touch ups, weepers, cuts or irritation. I caught myself over buffing a couple areas so hit them with an Alum Stick for prevention. Still a very good shave.
