Late day haircut and a shave for a dinner date.
The Tek really gets it done, I just have to pay attention. No lolly gaging allowed. This razor seems to like an Astra blade.

1.5 pass shave after a shower was as clean as it gets for me without going overboard.

Notes: I had to shave for an evening engagement after some yard work. And decided to go back and try out the Rapira. Hadn’t used once since I first started testing blades. And it just isn’t my jams. Little bit razor burned in the neck. Honestly, I think I found my sweet spot with my Kai, Astra, BiC, and the occasional Feather usage. I might throw a bunch of my leftovers from the sampler in a mailer envelop and PIF to one of yall. Otherwise the shave was a normal one for me, in-terms of pacing, lather build and stroke technique. Like the combo of the Rawr with the Brandy Spice. Used the balm to fight the razor burn.

Rating: 9/10 - A very enjoyable shave. Stirling makes a great lather. The Jade is a pleasure to use. The Tech keeps on going, smooth and easy.

GSB continues to excel in Greencult 2.0. It easily removed my 3 day beard. I finished with the classic from the 70s, Original Denim which reminds me a little of Aramis.

The Claymore Evolution + Pro Super combination is efficient and effective enough to let me get by with a 1-pass (WTG on my face, ATG on my neck) Socially Acceptable Shave (SAS) on those days when I don't need my usual 3-Pass + Touch-ups DFS (or better) results. The balance, with the Ti Crown handle, is spot on. Currently one of my Top 5 AC Blade razors.

I thought first that it will be a new razor after binning old Rubie. I then was re-thinking. Let's continue with Duomo !

I changed to a fresh Rubie. Oh god this tuck never ends! Be warned newbies and experienced shavers:
Fresh blades are much sharper than old ones !

Started like I used to. Made a stupid mistake and Duomo bit immediately. Got ugly mark on cheek. And weeper under nose. I adopted to new blade, corrected pressure and angle and from here on shave went well.

The first vintage straight I acquired - a few years back now. Engraved as "Sunday" from a seven day set (no idea where the other six are), and might be what got me into the old-stuff-on-Sunday routine.

New brush. I liked the idea of a smaller knot Simpson, and when these appeared on the website I thought "I'm having that". 20mm, so not quite in Wee Scot territory, but feels quite compact in the hand. Marketed as a travel brush and came with a tube, but it hasn't been away anywhere yet. Here's how it looks in my traditional "here's a brush" setting.

TOBS and Black Label are regulars to a "the usual, please, landlord" level. The alcohol in the aftershave smells and feels sharper these days, but it's lasted better since the Eighties than I have.

I'll call it a "9" today.
