What is the difference?

Between Arabica and Columbian? I cannot get a decent answer anywhere! You guys are my last hope.

Aribica is a bean type, Columbian is a growing region. In a case of slight of hand, cheap robusta beans grown at low altitude are sold as Columbian beans today. Prior to the new robusta cultivars being introduced (which are crap)the only coffee available from Columbia was high altitude, high quality beans.

Hope that clearer than my coffee.

Thanks, I actually was on the right track. It messed me up today as I was about to grab a bag of beans and the same maker had one listed as Arabica and one Columbian, and it stumped this newbie.
