Has anyone used Uppercut Aftershave Moisturizer? I recently purchased a tube only to discover it smells like industrial chemicals.

I have the uppercut mustache wax. It has a lemony smell that is, thankfully, short lived.
If you want a moisturizing a/s, get one with glycerin in it.
That’s what they make it for. If it makes your face sticky or greasy, use one with propylene glycol, but be mindful of the humidity.
