Wow, that sounds like a great idea. Do you have a crust on top then or do they just get brown?

Golden brown crust . . . delicate . . . less than cutting a french fry. Occasionally there was a bit of sprinkled parmigiana. The thought makes me a bit homesick (different place and time and you can't go back) Now that I've remembered it I'll be practicing in Fall for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Gets tricky working these things in with the turkey, buns, and pies, on the day of the feast.
